For some tasks (eg for collision detection or data export) it can sometimes be helpful if one refines the faceting something. But too much refinement not only reduces the reaction time of the system. It can also prevent the loading of a complete assembly. Because depending on the size and memory modules of the computer-equipment, the storage limit of the system are achieved.
In our case it was a small wave facets whose accuracy was refined to such an extent that the assembly could be loaded only in a well-equipped 64-bit system. But on "conventional" systems, such a module loaded: if you look in the Knowlegde Base in the Support section of PTC with the tag "faceting", we get a first hit already a link to a support video. This chapter will explain and share what you have to switch to modeling ignored during the loading process the stored facets accuracy. Possibly, thus putting many previously "hung tough on gas" re-assembly process faster.
