Santa Catalina Internet

Hello my friends, now we are

landed four in Santa Catalina. If on Tuesday with three different coaches (1 stop in Santiago and one in Sonia) driven by Chitre from this famous surf spot, which we have read in many guidebooks ("In-funky spot for surfers from all over the world"). Here it is incredibly beautiful, in fact, but still not overrun by other tourists. There is the "city center" (consisting of a supermarket, 2 bars, a few restaurants and phone booths) and distributed several large area of accommodation. Our home, the Cabanas "Las Palmeras" are - sweet little red huts on a hill with beautiful sea views. Each lodge has a small veranda and one can enjoy the perfect sunset. I make the sun rise (= Vera), unfortunately not always, as I (do sun and sea air really tired; accelerates fatigue is occasionally even by the delicious local beer Balboa:) soooo long sleep).

In Santa Catalina, it can be applied to all cases bear good: the food is super delicious and very cheap. We often eat local cuisine (fresh fish or chicken with rice, per person costs only 3 dollars), but were already eating pizza or a funny Texan who in his small bar (beach front) conjures fantastic burritos. Panama seem at all a popular destination for emigrants to be. Day before yesterday I have Ines & we rented a surfboard and surf shop was firmly in the hands of four Bavarian girls who have settled here in Santa Catalina.

Speaking of surfing: surf here is especially on the Reef (more like dangerous with lots of stones, for there are also good waves), we limit ourselves to the peaceful beautiful girls Beach Break, where we can at most times spin on soft sand. Yesterday we were out once in a half-day (with professional teacher Bernd; like to thank for countless times in the push-wave!) And it is really great fun. The water is warm and the beach is very clean = just perfect! Incredible amount of humidity we have here by the way, everything sticks and you could every half-hour hop into the shower. Almost jungle-like! Once a day (usually early evening), the heavens opened its gates and it rains in torrents for about one quarter of an hour. Since parallel to the sun, rainbows arise out of a picture book ...

Today will probably be gone early times in the Hela, yesterday evening after we are a bit swamped with our Canadian neighbors Cabana. Ines do tomorrow and I may start again a surf-trial and not later on Sunday we'll go by public buses continue to Boquete. There is a volcano ("Baru") and great hiking opportunities - also supposedly the best coffee in all of Panama. We are excited and looking forward ...

Until next time!
Besitos, Ines y Vera

PS: The camera is, unfortunately, especially in our cabana. Images are another time later!

Purple Streaks On Inside Of Thighs

Finally back:)

Hello Germany,

We hope you are all well at home there - despite freezing temperatures and February-mud-weather. We are sitting together in hot and humid 35 degrees in an internet cafe in Chitre, a small town on the Azuero Peninsula in the south of Panama. Here we are stuck since yesterday forced to be, because the love Frijolita (the VW bus from Fix & Bernd, who is already over 30 years old) has gezickt a bit yesterday and we had a breakdown of nowhere. Currently, a mechanic take care of the old lady and we hope she is soon fit enough that we can block the nozzles with her towards Santa Catalina.

But let's start again from scratch - there is much to report now that we had about a week without internet and were cut off from all communication. Time a new experience for us two mobile phone and web junkies. Amazingly, it is to live quite well without:)

Los
our trip went so on 11.02:. Strengthened with a deluxe breakfast in the Communist-WG and accompanied by a great farewell committee, we started at the Wuerzburg train station.

After a long journey which was difficult, inter alia by aggressive American Flight neighbors and of garlic smelly by-seaters, we are beautiful both Chicas after a loaded cosmetic complete overhaul at the airport as ever finally arrived.

.... Prior to the complete overhaul

After the complete overhaul ... to say there's a make-up would be overestimated: Perfectly styled)

we were then realize that is harsh on the 2 locals and Bernd Fix ... and had to receive the among men is ... the happy times nachgeholfen were 2 erblonded namely fresh:) (they say of course that would be from the sun, we believe they would rather be just too pretty for making our special reception)
After a short Beschnupperungsphase we went with the Frijolita through Panama City in a sweet hostel where we spent the next 2 nights.
Panama City is hot, loud, colorful and full of good humor, what could have been guarding the Carnival.

Downtown Panama City

relating After 2 Eingewoehnungstagen was the climate, food and also as regards our 4-force then the Sexy Frijolita to the coast of the peninsula of Azuero for Eco Venao where Surferbooooys already had 2 slightly tacky and wonderful cabanas in the jungle for us reserved.

The Cabanas:)

Here we have therefore spent the first week of our trip, have cooked every night and delicious pizza made in nem-built stone oven, celebrated Carnival, learned to surf (Which are bitter professionals if we come back, yes, but also have our private coaches ... I'm just Surfergiiiiiiiiiiiiirls)

The last 2 days were then unfortunately our cabanas rented so we had to move again, and as we had just adopted from the luxury of the past few days, showed us the join out our new home: Casa de Mango! A house with open living room and sea view, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms incredible ... because he was so sorry we have to move then we have this beach villa for $ 13 per person and night to get ....

Our dining room ...

view from the dining room ...

Yesterday we then set out, then again ... and wanted to Santa Catalina, where the guys will be better, according to the waves (we're also very fortgeschitten so ne 2 meter wave range as never:))
Unfortunately complained after 100 km the Frijolita pretty and we had to finally park the car in the boonies, and drive back along the small town of Chitre. raise
a mechanic who is familiar with the '77 VW bus seems to be more difficult so soon .. we hope to find a solution, and by mid-week again on the beach in a hammock.
soon - it kiss you and Ines Vera
